Turn off Pop-Up Blockers in Chrome
Pop-up blockers are a useful tool to prevent unwanted ads and notifications from appearing on your screen. However, they can also prevent you from being able to successfully open your course page. If you're having trouble accessing a your course or a feature on a website, it may be because your pop-up blocker is enabled. Here's how to turn off pop-up blockers in Chrome:
1. Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down and click on "Privacy and security" on the left-hand side of the screen.
4. Click on "Site settings."
5. Scroll down and click on "Pop-ups and redirects."
6. Toggle the switch to the right to turn off the pop-up blocker.
If you want to allow pop-ups from a specific website, you can add it to your exceptions list. Simply click on "Add" under the "Allow" section and enter the website's URL. You can also choose to block pop-ups from specific websites by adding them to the "Block" section.
