Dropping a Course
At times, students may need to drop a course for various reasons. If you find yourself in this situation, don't worry, we've got you covered. Here's everything you need to know about dropping a course.
To drop a course, you'll need to submit a request via Customer Support. Please note that refunds will not be issued when a course is dropped. However, credit towards future enrollment is available if the request to drop the course is within 10 days of the student's enrollment date (Grace Period). This credit can be used to add a replacement course one time. Only one course add/drop is allowed per paid enrollment.
If you request to drop a course up to half-way (50%) through the enrollment in the course, it will not be listed on your transcript and will not be calculated into your GPA. However, if you request to drop a course in the second half (51%+) of the enrollment in the course, it will be listed on your transcript as WF (Withdrew while Failing) or WP (Withdrew while Passing) as a final grade and will not affect your GPA.
It's important to note that students who drop a course are not eligible for Credit Recovery in that course. So, if you're struggling in a course, we encourage you to reach out to your instructor or our support team for assistance before deciding to drop the course.
We hope this information helps you make an informed decision about dropping a course. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support team for assistance.
