We understand that sometimes students may need to retake an assignment or assessment due to various reasons. Here is our policy on assignment retakes:

Retakes are permitted for students in all grades on teacher-graded assignments, with a maximum of one retake attempt per assignment. This means that if a student receives a grade they are not satisfied with, they can request to retake the assignment once. However, please note that course exams, tests, and final exams may not be retaken by any student in any grade.

In addition, students in grades K-8 may also request to retake auto-graded quizzes. This provides students with an opportunity to improve their scores and better understand the material.

To request an opportunity to retake an assignment or quiz (as permitted above), students should send a message to the teacher of the corresponding course via the Message Center in My Virtual Campus. The retake request message should include the student's request to retake a graded item, the name of the course, the exact name of the assignment/assessment, and the topic or module in which the graded item is located.

If students have any questions or concerns regarding the retake policy, they may also create a Customer Support Ticket. The ticket should include the name of the course, assignment title, and the reason that the student is making this request.

We hope that this policy provides clarity on our assignment retake policy. Our goal is to support students in their academic journey and provide them with opportunities to succeed.
