As a classroom facilitator for online courses, it is important to ensure that students are progressing and achieving success in their studies. Here are some tips on how to support students taking online courses:

1. Regularly review student progress: Log in to the My Virtual Campus administrator portal to review individual student progress detail. Report #264 will provide student progress detail. Monitor both student current grade and pacing weekly.

2. Encourage students to enter support tickets: Encourage students to immediately enter support tickets for all issues other than questions regarding course material. If a student has questions regarding course material, please assist the student with sending an email to the instructor via the My Virtual Campus messaging center.

3. Encourage parents to use the guardian portal: Encourage parents to use their guardian portal to monitor student progress and to read weekly progress reports from each instructor via the My Virtual Campus messaging center. Parents should send emails to the instructor if questions arise.

4. Review attendance report: Review attendance report #91 to ensure students are committing approximately 60 minutes per day, per course 5 times per week. The 60 minutes per day, per course time recommendation is in ADDITION to the time spent attending live lessons, if any. The campus is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the student to work independently in the course material.

5. Counsel students who are not meeting expectations: Counsel students who are not regularly submitting work for grading each week, attending live lessons (if any), or requesting resets for any earned grade lower than 70% to the instructor via email.

6. Submit a support ticket if you have any further questions or concerns: https://hudsonglobalscholars.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
